John H. Heide has 36 years of experience representing clients in complex family law matters. Attorney Heide now provides Mediation services on complex family law matters exclusively.  Attorney Heide has held board certification in Family Law Trial Advocacy from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has been rated a Super Lawyer by Milwaukee Magazine every year since 2005 and has been named one of the Top 50 Wisconsin Lawyers since 2018.

Attorney Heide is a native of northeastern Wisconsin. He graduated from Silver Lake College with a Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude in Business Management in 1985. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School in 1987. He also instructed for Silver Lake College in business law.
 

Attorney Heide is also a private pilot and a member of EAA. He has logged time in the following aircraft: C-172, C-177, T-6 Texan, L-39 Aero Vodochody, and PA-28. He assists clients on aviation matters on a limited basis.
