Leah Derusha is a graduate of Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Pre-Law. Leah then went on to graduate from Marquette University Law School. She provides expert legal services to both Family Law clients throughout Northeastern Wisconsin focusing on divorces and child custody and physical placement disputes. Leah also provides representation to children as a Guardian Ad Litem. She is experienced in child custody cases, post-judgment issues such as revision of maintenance and child support, contempt issues and divorces.
As a law student, she was a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Morrison, Circuit Court Judge in Marinette County. She also completed internships for the Wisconsin Public Defenders office in both Peshtigo and Milwaukee Counties. During her time at Marquette University, Leah was a member of the Association for Women in Law and the Pro Bono Society. She was also a volunteer for the Family Law Help Desk in the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
